In October, the WFD attended the G7 on Inclusion and Disability in Italy, a summit bringing together the world’s seven largest economies and other invited countries.
This unique event gave the WFD the opportunity to meet several country representatives, including the French representative. This meeting, prepared in collaboration with OM France, proved to be effective: after the G7, the Secretary of State for people with disabilities contacted OM France, resulting in a productive follow-up meeting.
OM France expresses its gratitude to the WFD for this collaboration, which represents a significant step forward in promoting the rights of deaf people in France.
