A delegation from the World Federation of the Deaf (WFD) actively participated in the Zero Project Conference 2025, a globally recognised platform dedicated to fostering innovation for disability inclusion. This prestigious event brought together over 1,000 participants from more than 90 countries at the United Nations Office in Vienna, Austria, providing a unique space for collaboration and knowledge exchange.
During the conference, the WFD President delivered an insightful presentation on career opportunities in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for Deaf individuals. The session highlighted the importance of accessibility, inclusive education, and technological advancements in empowering Deaf professionals within the ICT sector.
Beyond the presentation, the event also provided a valuable occasion for WFD representatives to engage with various organizations, strengthen networks, and explore potential partnerships. By connecting with key stakeholders, WFD continues to advocate for inclusive policies and initiatives that support the rights and aspirations of Deaf communities worldwide.
