The World Federation of the Deaf is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Pamela Molina as its new Executive Director. Ms. Molina brings extensive knowledge and experience in the International and Inter-American Human Rights systems, as well as experience in managing human rights project teams around the globe. She was also a finalist for the position of UN Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in 2020. A native Chilean, Ms. Molina is the WFD’s first Executive Director from the Global South. Ms. Molina will replace Mr. Raymond Rodgers, the current Executive Director, who will end his contract at the end of 2020. Ms. Molina will begin on 1 January 2021.
