The WFD Vice President recently visited Oman to present the work of the WFD and its global advocacy for the rights of deaf people.
The meeting offered an opportunity for the deaf communities to reflect on the benefits of the WFD for their advocacy for their sign language rights. He also encouraged participants to attend the WFD World Congress and the WFDYS Youth Camp taking place in the UAE next year.
During his visit, he met with representatives of the national association of the deaf and encouraged them to consider applying for Ordinary Membership.
