Make today the day to celebrate and encourage giving to the WFD
Since the announcement of our financial difficulties, we have received questions from many of you asking how you can provide sustainable support. We are relieved you understand that fighting injustices cannot be achieved overnight. There are many ways you can continuously support the WFD. To mark the beginning of Christmas and holiday season, the WFD encourages all of you to participate in #GivingTuesday held on 27 November 2018.
#GivingTuesday is a movement started in 2012 by an organisation in the USA and the United Nations Foundation. It is held on Tuesday after Thanksgiving as a day to celebrate and encourage giving.
On #GivingTuesday, you can give to the WFD by becoming:
WFD Facebook Fundraisers
Did you know that YOU can fundraise for the WFD with just a few clicks in the comfort of your chair? With Facebook fundraiser, you just write a FB post about who we are and why you support our important work. You can support in lieu of a birthday/Christmas gift. Or write a post about #GivingTuesday. The best part about a personal FB fundraiser is that there is NO FEES for you or the WFD when you donate through facebook.

WFD Regular Donors:
We understand that freedom is always important – as a regular donor, you are free to decide how often you wish to give – annually, quarterly, or monthly. All donors are acknowledged in the WFD publications, with permission. WFD Individual Members:
Everyone loves discount – as an Individual Member, you get discounts to WFD events and products. This means that you can attend the World Congress of the Deaf 2019 at a reduced price.
