The XIX WFD General Assembly opened this morning at the International Conference Centre in Istanbul, Turkey. In front of 128 delegates from 74 countries , the WFD President, Colin Allen took attendees on a WFD journey, recounting its activities over the past four years.

Representatives of National Associations of the Deaf (Ordinary Members) from across the world took the opportunity to take the floor and share their views and issues.
