The World Federation of the Deaf is pleased to share a new position paper on deaf people with intellectual disabilities. This paper was developed in close collaboration with our partner international organisations Down Syndrome International and Inclusion International, who have also endorsed the Position Paper.  Deaf people with intellectual disabilities are a part of our deaf communities and deserve full access to these communities and to their national sign languages.
