The objective of this guidance document is to provide practical, hands-on strategies and advice to Disabled People’s Organisation’s (DPOs) and DPO coalitions on the international human rights mechanisms at both national and international levels. This guidance document focuses on the reporting process of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and the preparation of reports by DPOs in order to provide DPOs with practical information on both the process and the content of reporting. It is prepared by the International Disability Alliance (IDA) which is a network of global and regional disabled people’s organisations aiming to promote the effective and full implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) worldwide.
